La Libertad Avanza has confirmed today the incorporation of Alejandro Bongiovanni from the PRO party, effective December. This makes him the 94th member of the libertarian bloc. Bongiovanni, who defines himself as a liberal lawyer, had been courted by legislative representatives of La Libertad Avanza for days but delayed his decision until today, when he communicated it to the head of the PRO bloc, Christian Ritondo. This move comes after the official arrival of Verónica Razzini, further strengthening the libertarian group. It is worth noting that La Libertad Avanza has been actively bolstering its numbers in recent weeks by recruiting members from other parties, bringing them closer to Unión por la Patria and potentially surpassing them as the leading opposition force in Congress.
